Benjamin “Ben” Lee Hicks age 61 years of Nashville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday April 20th, 2024, after a fight with head and neck cancer.

He is preceded in death by father Benjamin Leo Hicks and granddaughter Abigail Garcia.

He is survived by wife Sandy Hicks, his mother Ethel Hicks, brothers (Dennis, David, Jim, and Fred), nine children (Roger, Jaclyn, Jeanette, Tiffany, Joel, Corban, Casey, Madilynn, and Alex), and nineteen grandchildren.

Having been an exterminator for over 46 years, Ben served the Brown County and surrounding community for 17 of those years as owner and operator of All Seasonal Pest Control and previously 22 years as proprietor of Michigan City Pest Control. Ben spent his life helping and supporting others while seeking no recognition. He could hold a conversation for days and talk your ear off on a topic of choice with anecdotes to entertain and stories abound. Ben would passionately talk politics, incite laughter with jokes, and inform with his wealth of knowledge. His humble heart reached out to aid others in countless ways, seeing a need and filling it without hesitation. Ben loved his family and community and did everything he could to make sure other people were well cared for. He will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
