Independence Day is Thursday and with it comes holiday closures. If you need to visit any county or town government offices this week, you will want to wait until Friday to make your rounds.

The Nashville Town Hall and Circuit Court will be closed on Thursday. The Brown County Government Offices will also be closed in observance of the holiday.

Apologies in advance for those looking for something fun to do on their day off because the Brown County Public Library will be closed.

The Brown County Democrat office will also be closed and will reopen on Friday, ready to answer questions and help our customers.
