Four of 37 provisional ballots cast in the 2012 general election in Brown County will count toward candidates’ final totals.
The others, according to state law, could not be counted because the voter voted in the wrong precinct, didn’t show identification or wasn’t properly registered to vote.
The Brown County Election Board reviewed provisional ballots and two late-arriving absentee ballots from overseas on Nov. 16, ending the vote counting process.
The additional votes weren’t enough to change the outcomes of any races.
