COLUMBUS — A Nashville man is in critical condition after an accident in Columbus this morning.
Steve Huber, 67, was driving a semi truck carrying logs when it overturned on West Lowell Road near Interstate 65.
Columbus Township Fire Department Capt. Dave Thompson said the accident happened at about 9 a.m. in the 3400 block of West Lowell Road, near a curve.
The semi flipped on its side, spilling the logs and knocking over a pole and fiber optic cables, investigators said.
Huber was unconscious at scene with a head injury, and was transported by Lifeline medical helicopter to Methodist, Thompson said.
