Linda Susan Lehto, 68, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2016.
Linda was born Aug. 18, 1948, in Connersville to Robert M. Wright and Martha M. (Buckingham) Joest. Linda was a 1966 graduate of Connersville High School before attending Indiana University in Bloomington.
Linda taught medical assisting at Aristotle College in Indianapolis before marrying Robert Lehto on Oct. 24, 1992, and moving to Michigan.
In 2001 they moved back to Indiana, settling in Nashville, where she always dreamed of living. She worked at The Olde Bartley House there before retiring in 2003.
Linda truly lived life to the fullest; her laugh and continuous positive attitude was infectious. She loved to entertain and her cooking was beyond amazing. Anyone in her life with a new baby was given an afghan she knitted specially for them. But heaven help you if she couldn’t watch her NASCAR! However, nothing compared to the love she had and gave to her friends and family.
Linda is survived by her loving husband, Robert Lehto; her daughter and son-in-law, Amanda and Brandon Yarwood; and her grandson, Alexander Neely.
As Linda did not wish to have a formal funeral service, a private family service celebrating her life will be conducted at a later time.
