Charles “Chuck” Ray Kelly, 84, of Bloomington, formerly of Nashville, Indiana, passed away Monday, April 17, 2017, at Bell Trace Health and Living Center.

He was born April 7, 1933, in Bloomington, son of the late Wayne and Olive Kelly.

Chuck was a Korean Navy veteran. After being in the Navy he went to Indiana University where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business and finance. He retired from RCA as a personnel manager. After retiring from RCA he owned Toby’s Bakery in Bedford for 11 years. After leaving the bakery he worked the next 20 years at Brown County State Park.

Chuck enjoyed hunting, fishing, coaching Little League baseball and spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Sydney Kay (Overman) Kelly; his son, Dr. Stuart Kelly of Marion; his two daughters, Toby Kelly of San Francisco, California, and Kerry Feigenbaum (Lyle) of Bloomington; two sisters, Alberta Jarboe of Peoria, Arizona, and Carolyn Pelt (Tom) of Nashville, Tennessee; four grandchildren, Cassie, Collin, Jake, and Lucy; and two nieces.

Memorial services to celebrate his life will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 13 at St. Matthew’s the Archangel Anglican Church, 51 E. Chestnut St. in Nashville, officiated by Father Dan Connley.
