Sharon Bussert, Jessica Bussert
Bussert Images, featuring the work of photographers Sharon Bussert and Jessica Bussert, has been awarded a certificate of excellence in the Midwest Salute to the Arts Festival. Their showing featured black-and-white landscapes from recent travels in the Midwest and the West Coast.
The photographers moved to Brown County in 2007. Fueled by a lifelong passion for travel and landscape photography, they spend part of each year in a motor home searching out new places and experiences. Their travels have taken them to 40 countries and most of the United States. They use digital and antique film cameras in their work. Both are self-taught. Their work can be seen locally at B3 Gallery in Nashville and By Hand Gallery in Bloomington. They will be participating in art fairs in Bloomington, Indianapolis and Louisville, Kentucky this fall.
