Wedding: Emma Lawson — Braeden Brown

Emma Louise Lawson and Braeden Nathaniel Brown, both born and raised in Brown County, were married at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, 2017.

After dating for seven years, the couple exchanged vows before 255 family members and friends at The Sycamore at Mallow Run Winery in Bargersville. The officiant was Mike Lewis of Hagers- town, Maryland, uncle of the groom.

The bride is the daughter of Timothy Wayne and Melinda Marlene Lawson of Four Mile Ridge Road. The groom’s parents are Timothy Edward and Shauna Gai Brown of Yellowwood Trail.

Cousin of the bride, Jessica Van Hoorde of Indianapolis, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were cousin of the bride, Hannah Lawson of Columbus; friends of the bride, Megan Owen of Franklin and Sarah White of Columbus; and sister of the groom, Jalyn Fawbush of Poseyville.

Trent Bond of Evansville served as best man. Groomsmen were friend of the groom, Christian Ely of Nashville; brothers of the bride, Matthew Short and Job Lawson, both of Nashville; and brother-in-law of the groom, Baret Fawbush of Poseyville.

Niece of the groom, Kiercely Fawbush of Poseyville, was the flower girl. Nephew of the groom, Knox Fawbush of Poseyville, was the ring bearer. Cousins of the bride, Emily Lawson and Drew Lawson, both of Columbus, were sign carriers. Cousin of the bride, Nick Harding of Nineveh, served as usher. Cousin of the bride, Audrey Lawson of Columbus, was the guest book attendant.

The bride is a registered nurse and holds a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She works full-time in the Birthing Center at Columbus Regional Hospital.

The groom is in his final year as a student in the School of Radiologic Technology at CRH. He also performs as a musician.

The couple resides on Lafayette Avenue in Columbus.
