Nellie Bunch-Osborne

Nellie (Foltz) Bunch-Osborne, age 95, passed away Saturday afternoon, Dec. 16, 2017, at Brown County Health & Living Community in Nashville. She was a resident of Brown County and a former resident of New Port Richey, Florida.

Nellie was born Dec. 7, 1922, in Kansas, Illinois, to the late Floyd M. and Jewell S. (Padget) Foltz. She married Charles N. Osborne on Feb. 23, 1992 in Louisville, KY. He preceded her in death Nov. 25, 2004.

Nellie retired in 1992 as a security officer for Burns Incorporated in Indianapolis. She was also retired from General Motors in Indianapolis, where she worked in the sewing room for over 12 years. Prior to that, she worked as a quality control inspector for Dage Electric in Beech Grove for 17 years.

Nellie enjoyed wintering with her husband in New Port Richey, FL, where she was a member of Holiday Gospel Tabernacle Church. She served as the church treasurer for many years. Nellie was also a member of New Life Community Church in Nashville and the United Auto Workers Union in Indianapolis. She enjoyed tending to her flower gardens, crafting, crocheting and fishing. Nellie loved spending time with her family, especially spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Nellie is survived by her children, Evva Sue (George) Miller of Bean Blossom, Richard V. (Linda) Bunch of Dupont and Jack L. (Sue) Bunch of Nashville; brother, James Foltz of Indianapolis; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; son, Eugene Bunch; siblings, Jewell Ann Murdoch, Floyd Foltz Jr., Elmer E. Foltz, Mary Dick, Eula Jackson, Verel Foltz, Reece Foltz, and an infant brother, Johnnie.

A funeral service will be conducted at noon Thursday, Dec. 21 at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry St. in Morgantown. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Unity Baptist Church Cemetery, Brown County.
