A Nashville man was arrested for possession of prescription pills in a gas station parking lot.
Joshua R. Aspenson, 38, had been sitting in a running car for “a long time,” according to a probable cause affidavit by Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Andrew Eggebrecht.
When he approached the car, Eggebrecht reported seeing a glass smoking pipe with suspected marijuana residue. A search of the vehicle was conducted, and Eggebrecht reported finding four pill types, including two different strengths of hydrocodone pills, a generic Adderall pill and one unidentified pill, according to the affidavit.
Eggebrecht also reported finding a “piece of methamphetamine-related paraphernalia,” the affidavit states.
Aspenson was charged Jan. 5 with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, both Class A misdemeanors, and possession of paraphernalia, a Class C misdemeanor.
