ORDINANCE 2018-05
AN ORDINANCE TO CREATE ONE WAY TRAFFIC RESTRICTION ON OLD HICKORY LANE
WHEREAS; Old Hickory Lane is a narrow lane with parking lots on the north and south side between Jefferson and Johnson Streets, and;
WHEREAS; increased traffic and use of the area has created the need to improve traffic flow and safety in the area; and.
WHEREAS; the Town Council of the Town of Nashville deems it advisable to amend its Traffic Control Ordinance:
IT IS THEREFORE ORDAINED THAT CHAPTER 72 OF THE TOWN OF NASHVILLE CODE OF ORDINANCES, SCHEDULE 1, ONE WAY STREETS, BE AND IS AMENDED AS FOLLOWS:
Traffic on Old Hickory Lane shall be restricted to Westbound only, from Jefferson Street to Johnson Street.
This Ordinance shall become effective upon passage and publication as required by law. Town Administration is further directed to erect appropriate signage.
