Volunteers at Mother’s Cupboard community kitchen brought smiles to many faces on June 30 at their ice cream social. Along with giving away bags of hot dogs, buns, beans and cookies, plus candy and cold drinks, they sent two bicycles home with local children. Kendall Cochrane, daughter of Tonya Adams and Thomas Cochrane, won the girls bike, and Hudson King, son of Jackie Jones, won the boys bike.
