The filing window for Brown County school board closed on Aug. 24. The following residents have tossed their hats into the ring:

School board races are nonpartisan.
In order to vote in the Nov. 6 general election, voters must be registered to vote in the Brown County precinct in which they live by Tuesday, Oct. 9. To check your registration, call the Brown County clerk’s office at 812-988-5510 or go to indianavoters.com.
