Where are you from, originally?
I am originally from the south side of Indianapolis.
Where did you work before coming here?
Before coming to Brown County, I taught at Hauser Jr. Sr. High School.
What made you decide to be a teacher?
I became a teacher because I wanted to make a difference in the lives of young people. I thought about becoming a social worker, but decided to combine my love for words and reading with my desire to make a difference to young people and became a teacher.
What are you most looking forward to this school year?
I’m most looking forward to getting to know all my students.
What is one thing you want your students to know about you?
One thing I want my students to know about me is that I love reading and want everyone to love it as much as I do. Because of this, it is my personal goal to find at least one book that each of my students likes before they leave high school.
