Community center offers lunch, cards
SPEARSVILLE — Hickory Ridge Civic League and Community Center, 2314 Hickory Ridge Lane, is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursdays, with lunch at 11:30 a.m.
Tuesday, Sept. 11: Annual budget meeting for trustees at 6:30 p.m.
Thursday, Sept. 13: Lunch at Parkview Nazarene Church. Bus leaves Hickory Ridge at 10 a.m.
Saturday, Sept. 15: Sausage gravy breakfast, 8 to 11 a.m. Menu includes biscuits, sausage gravy, fried potatoes, eggs, sausage links, pancakes and drink, $6 per adult, $3 per child 12 and younger.
Thursday, Sept. 20: Senior meeting, cards, puzzles or exercise, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; potluck, 11:30 a.m.
Monday, Sept. 24: Civic League meeting, 6 p.m.
Thursday, Sept. 27: Cards, puzzles, fitness exercise, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; potluck, 11:30 a.m.
