Area Plan Commission seeks input on amendment to increase tourist home minimum distances

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE

BROWN COUNTY AREA PLAN COMMISSION

Notice is hereby given that Christine Ritzmann has filed with the Area Plan Commission of the County of Brown, Indiana, an application for Amendment to the Tourist Home Resolution established in 1997 in Brown County.  Public input is sought regarding proposed Amendments to increase minimum distances between tourist homes and between residences and tourist homes.

The file on this matter is available for public inspection during the regular working hours at the Brown County Area Plan Commission office in the County Office Building, 201 Locust Lane, Nashville, Indiana.  Written comments to the Amendments, which are filed with the Secretary of the Area Plan Commission before the hearing, will be considered. Oral comments concerning the proposed Amendments will be heard. The hearing may be continued from time to time. Following the hearing, the Brown County Plan Commission may take final action on the Amendments and on any proposed changes to the Amendments. The hearing is open to the public.

A public hearing will be held by the Commission on October 23, 2018 during a meeting commencing at 6:00 p.m. All interested persons will be given the opportunity to be heard in reference to the matters set out in the petition. This notice is being published to notify persons affected by this petition by order of the Area Plan Commission.
