AREA BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS

Notice is hereby given that the Brown County Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on October 24, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the second floor meeting room in the County Office Building. The purpose of the meeting is to consider a petition by Larry and Tamara Whyde for a Special Exception to allow a Tourist Home.

The location of the property is 9100 Carmel Ridge Road in Jackson Township.

Legal description of premises:

Beginning at the Northeast corner of said quarter quarter section; thence South 0 degrees 00 minutes West, on and along the East line thereof, 543.53 feet to the centerline of Carmel Ridge Road; thence South 56 degrees 48 minutes 30 seconds West, along said Road, 200.72 feet; thence North 65 degrees 31 minutes West 79.0 feet; thence North 71 degrees 10 minutes West 190.0 feet; thence North 83 degrees 13 minutes 30 seconds West 158.9 feet; thence North 47 degrees 27 minutes 30 seconds West 151.47 feet; thence North 70 degrees 33 minutes 30 seconds East 426.15 feet; thence North 43 degrees 59 minutes East 410.9 feet to the place of beginning, containing 4.67 acres, more or less.

The file on this matter is available for public inspection 10 days prior to the hearing, during the regular working hours at the Brown County Area Plan Commission office in the County Office Building, Nashville, Indiana.

All interested persons will be given the opportunity to be heard in reference to the matters set out in the petition. Written comments regarding the petition, which are filed with the secretary of the Area Plan Commission before the hearing, will be considered. The hearing may be continued from time to time.
