James Theodore “Ted” Rose, 47, of Nashville, died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2018.

He was born June 16, 1971 in Bloomington to Jerry and Katrina Rose.

Survivors include his parents of Nashville; his fiance, Melissa Olmsted of Nashville; a sister, Sabrina Rose Dunning (husband, Delbert) of Bean Blossom; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Ted was a member of Nashville Christian Church and a 1990 graduate of Brown County High School. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and was a welder, mechanic and truck driver. He loved being outdoors and spending time with his pets. Ted worked with his father in the family business, Jerry Rose and Son Bulk Water Transport, before going to work for Shelby Materials for 17 years. He was well loved by family and friends.

Family and friends gathered Nov. 3 in Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home; a funeral service followed, with Pastors Ted Hays and Patrick Glasser officiating. A private family burial was to be conducted in Duncan Cemetery.
