Thomas Lee Eaton, of Unionville, passed away peacefully Monday, April 15, 2019, one day after his 76th birthday.

Tom was born in Camp Atterbury to the late Edward K. and Estella (Ferrand) Eaton on April 14, 1943.

Tom worked for Illinois Central Railroad, which became Indiana Railroad, for 39 years. He met and married Agnes Workman on Jan. 26, 1985 in Bloomfield. Agnes and Tom made their home in Brown County for 34 years. Together, with the help of their sons, they raised over 30,000 daylilies and daffodils.

Tom is survived by his loving wife, Agnes; his two sons, Mathew (wife, Shannon) Eaton and Kenneth Eaton; his sister, Edna Fern (husband, Fred) Carter; and his three precious granddaughters, Lily, Iris and Poppy.

Friends may call on the Eaton family from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 22 in Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, 1682 State Road 135 North. A graveside service will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 23 in Pleasant View Cemetery, 7844 E. Northshore Drive, Unionville.
