PEO is an organization that supports women in education by offering scholarships to deserving women for college tuition. This year’s scholarship winner is Adelyn Roush, the recipient of a $1,000 scholarship which she will be using for tuition in the fall. Pioneer Women

The Pioneer Women’s Club meets each Wednesday at 9 a.m. at the History Center, 90 E. Gould St. Interested women are welcome.

Literary club

The Nashville Literary Club will meet Thursday, July 18 at 2 p.m. at Karen Sparks’ home. Judy Stewart will lead a discussion of “Loving” by Henry Green.
