Nashville Town Council — 7:30 a.m., to drive together to and from the United States Courthouse Room 234, 46 E. Ohio St., Indianapolis. This is an executive session for discussion of strategy concerning litigation that is either pending or has been threatened in writing.

Maple Leaf Management Group — 2:30 p.m., Salmon Room, County Office Building, 201 Locust Lane.

Brown County Area Plan Commission — 6 p.m., Salmon Room, County Office Building. Agenda includes Gnaw Bone Properties LLC requesting a replat of two lots at 4813, 4873 and 4883 State Road 46 East in Washington Township. To be followed by a work session on the zoning ordinance if time allows, focusing on home-based businesses.

Brown County Regional Sewer District board — 6 p.m., Brown County Community Foundation meeting room, 209 N. Van Buren St., executive session to discuss the acquisition of property.

Wednesday, Aug. 28

Brown County Educators Association and Brown County Schools Board of Trustees — 4 p.m., Goldberg Room, Brown County High School, 235 Schoolhouse Lane. Public testimony will be taken at this hearing pursuant to Indiana Code 20-29-6-1(a) regarding teacher compensation and collective bargaining.

Brown County Council — 5 p.m., Salmon Room, County Office Building, reconvening of budget hearings (which had been scheduled to end last week).

Brown County Parks and Recreation board — 5:15 p.m., parks and rec office, 1001 Deer Run Lane.

Brown County Board of Zoning Appeals — CANCELED. Docket moved to Wednesday, Sept. 25.

Monday, Sept. 2

Town and county government offices — CLOSED for Labor Day.

Gnaw Bone Regional Sewer District — 5:30 p.m., Brown County Public Library, 205 Locust Lane.

Tuesday, Sept. 3

Brown County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors — 8 a.m., Launch space above PNC Bank, 37 W. Main St.

Cordry-Sweetwater Conservancy District Building Commission — 7 p.m., CSCD office, 8377 Cordry Drive.

Brown County Redevelopment Commission — 4:30 p.m., Town Hall, 200 Commercial St.

Wednesday, Sept. 4

Brown County Commissioners — 9 a.m., Salmon Room, County Office Building.
