With the holiday season picking up, delivery services will see an increase in business as people ship gifts and goodies across the nation.
That’s one reason why a new business downtown is looking forward to this time of year.
A UPS Store is now in the Heritage Mall at 41 S. Van Buren St.
Opened Oct. 21, the new UPS location offers a variety of services to customers and businesses alike, like delivering, printing and packing.
[sc:text-divider text-divider-title=”Story continues below gallery” ]Retail associate Stephanie Jones has been with the company for about six weeks, moving from Michigan to Bloomington. “We have a store in Columbus, and people in the community were having to travel to there or Bloomington,” Jones said.
Now locals have complete access to the benefits and services that UPS has to offer in downtown Nashville — and not only locals, but tourists, too. “If people want to ship something home, they can,” she said.
The UPS Store offers every aspect of shipping and packing, but printing is what Jones emphasized. “Flyers, business cards — anything that goes into business, we have it.”
The store also will take care of returns to companies like Amazon, AT&T and DirecTV.
Business has been fairly slow, Jones said, but they’re expecting the holiday season to bring in new customers who will hopefully utilize their service year-round.
