Business owners need to complete survey to help state submit for federal assistance

The state is encouraging business owners to fill out a survey that will help in applying for federal aid for those affected by the impact of COVID-19 — the coronavirus.

Answers to the survey will “assist in evaluating a request for an economic injury disaster declaration from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA),” according to the website for Indiana Small Business Development Center where the survey can be found.

The survey should take a few minutes to complete.

The information provided will help the state in receiving federal assistance for businesses affected by the coronavirus and related directives, like Gov. Eric Holcomb announcing today that Indiana bars and restaurants will be shut down for in-house dining.
