Pioneer Women
The Pioneer Women’s Club meets each Wednesday at 9 a.m. at the Brown County History Center, 90 E. Gould St. Interested women are welcome.
Rotary club
The Brown County Rotary Club will not hold their meetings on March 19 and March 26 due to coronavirus concerns.
Herb society
The Brown County Herb Society meets the third Monday of each month. The club will meet in the lower level at the Brown County Public Library on Monday, April 20 at 3 p.m. All are welcome to join. Call the library at 812-988-2850 for more information.
Lions club
The Brown County Lions Club meets the third Tuesday of each month at the Seasons Lodge and Conference Center, 560 State Road 46 East, with a dinner meeting at 6:30 p.m. The next meeting will be April 21.
The Lions Club board meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Brown County Public Library, 205 Locust Lane. Anyone interested in Lions is invited to attend. The next board meeting will be April 7.

Literary Club
The Nashville Literary Club will meet at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 19, at Karen Sparks’ home. Barb Newton will lead a discussion of “House of Shadows” by Nicola Cormick.
Cemetery preservation
The Brown County Cemetery Preservation Society meets the second Tuesday of each month. The next meeting will be in the archives room at the Brown County History Center, 90 E. Gould St., Tuesday, April 14 at 4:15 p.m. The society is a committee of the Peaceful Valley Heritage group. All are welcome.
Peaceful Valley Heritage
Peaceful Valley Heritage Inc., a preservation group, meets the second Tuesday of each month. The next meeting will be at the Brown County Community Foundation building, 209 N. Van Buren St., on Tuesday, April 14 at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome.
Bluebird club
The Brown County Bluebird Club’s annual bluebird nest box sale has begun. The boxes are all cedar and fully assembled. One box is $15 and two boxes are $25. To obtain a box, call Dan Sparks at 812-200-5700.
