The Brown County Schools Board of Trustees approved the following on July 16:

  • The disclosure of free and reduced lunch price information between the Brown County Weekend Backpacks organization and Brown County Schools for 2020-2021 school year. This allows for the district to share this information so that backpacks of food can be distributed to families each week where students on free or reduced lunch live. This information is not shared outside of the backpacks program.

A BCCF $5,000 matching grant has also been awarded to the CRC for the same program. The CRC will be accepting charitable contributions toward their $5,000 match until the end of the year.
