YMCA yoga instructor Sarah Lyttle will host Lunchtime Laughter Yoga sessions on Zoom Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. to noon.

Laughter yoga is an “antidote” to anxiety and depression brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, a press release from the Y states. “This type of yoga is based on the belief that voluntary laughter provides similar physiological and psychological benefits as spontaneous laughter,” the release states. “Intentional laughter often turns into real and contagious laughter.”

Anyone interested can register at the YMCA welcome desk to receive the Zoom link.
