Donald “Donnie” Carl Miller, 81, of Brown County passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2021. He was born Aug. 17, 1939 in Elkinsville, IN the son of the late Carl and Jessie Miller.
Donnie was in the Army National Guard. He worked for many years on the assembly line at Cummins Inc. He enjoyed taking walks, being outdoors, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed.
Donnie is survived by his two sons, Drew Miller and his wife Lisa, Jeff Miller and his wife Dawna; his daughter, Cheryl Wyman and her husband Bob; a sister, Ruby Sankey; seven grandchildren, Justin, Morgan, Darcy, Dani, Wyatt, Hannah, and Maris; six great-grandchildren; and many other beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by thirteen siblings, Katherine Lucas, Ella Mae Miller, Ishmael “Bud” Ferguson, Ruth Deckard, Virginia Hilderbrand, Doris Cronean, Wayne Miller, George Miller, Raymond Miller, Oma Davidson, Lorene Callahan, Josephine Aubin, and Jurene Richardson.
Graveside services to celebrate his life will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2021 at Elkinsville Cemetery in Elkinsville, IN, officiated by Pastor Dean Manuel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, 2626 17th Street, Columbus, Indiana 47201.
