A 19-year-old Brown County man was treated at the scene of a crash on Jan. 30 after he told police he was run off the road by another vehicle.

Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Austin Schonfeld responded to the crash on Clay Lick Road near Hilltop Trail just after 11:30 a.m. The driver, Christopher Ratzburg, said he was driving south on Clay Lick when he was run off the road by a red SUV. Ratzburg’s vehicle struck a tree, sustaining “significant” front end damage, Schonfeld reported.

Ratzburg reported having arm pain and Schonfeld noted he had minor bleeding on his arm, but Ratzburg refused transport by EMS.

His vehicle was towed from the scene.

The other vehicle was not immediately found.
