This is to serve as public notice in accordance with IC5-3-1-4. The Southern Brown Volunteer Fire Department will bill for services provided during incident responses that occur on or after March 1, 2021. The following charges are only applicable to insurance
carriers, not private citizens. The price of services billed will be in accordance with IC 36-8-12-16 and the Indiana Fire Marshall’s
Office schedule of fees.
In accordance with IC 36-8-12-16, the State Fire Marshall publishes the following recommended schedule of service charges for fire
protection services.
(1) For initial response with a fire
engine, a fire truck, or a fire
apparatus, including a hazardous material response unit, or a fire rescue unit dispatched on a fire or hazardous material incident, two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) per response vehicle except command/control vehicle, which is one hundred dollars ($100.00) per vehicle.
(2) For each hour or fraction thereof as on scene assistance, one
hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) per response unit and fifty dollars ($50.00) per command/control
vehicle.
(3) For expendable material such as absorption materials, emulsifiers, or other agents used in cleanup operations, the actual replacement cost of those materials.
(4) For collection of debris,
chemicals, fuel, or contaminated materials resulting from a spill, the actual cost of removal and
disposal at an authorized location.
There are certain conditions that must be met before you implement this schedule. Please read the
attached laws (IC 36-8-12-13) and IC 5-3-1-4(d)

NOTICE OF FILING OF
2021 Annual Action Plan for Housing and Community Development

Notice is hereby given that the Indiana Office of Community & Rural Affairs and the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority plans to file their 2021 Annual Action Plan for Housing and Community Development (“2021 Action Plan”) with the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development on May 14, 2021, contingent on federal funding allocation decisions. In the event that federal funding is delayed, the plan may be submitted to HUD after this date. The draft 2021 Action Plan contains a funding contingency plan.

This document concerns programs that are funded through the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development under Title I of the Housing & Community Development Act of 1974 as amended. Annually, the state receives about $35 million for housing and community development funds. This document governs the allocation of those funds among housing and community development activities (e.g., economic development initiatives, infrastructure improvements, and homeownership and rental programs).

The 2021 Action Plan provides information on the housing and community development needs priorities and one year spending plan for the Community Development Block Grant Program, the Home Investment Partnership Program, the National Housing Trust Fund, the Emergency Solutions Grant Program, and the Housing Opportunities for Persons With Aids Program.

The Office of Community and Rural Affairs will have the 2021 Action Plan available for public inspection prior to its submission. Members of the public are invited to review the 2021 Action Plan during the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., March 15, 2021 through May 13, 2021, at the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs, One North Capitol, Suite 600, Indianapolis, Indiana 46204. The Action Plan will be available online at: www.in.gov/ocra/2369.htm.
