Youth fencing will be available at the Brown County YMCA, 105 Willow St., for six weeks between May 22 and June 26.

Maestro Anthony Joslin has been coaching most of his life. He earned his first coaching credential in Paris, France, in 2001 and, under the tutelage of French Olympic Gold Medalist coach Maestro Laszlo Szepesi, earned his fencing masters diploma with honors at TF Sport College in Budapest, Hungary in 2005. Joslin founded and instructed at the Coastside Academy of Fencing since its inception in 2002 in Half Moon Bay, California.

Joslin has coached many youth fencers into national rankings, medals and honors. He now joins the team at Brown County YMCA.

Youth fencing will be taught in the YMCA gymnasium on Saturdays from 11:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. for children ages 6 to 12.

Registration is available at the welcome desk. The cost is $90 for members, $110 for non-members, for each six-week session. Equipment rental, $20, is available through the instructor at the first class.
