Bradley Leon Pittman

Bradley Leon Pittman, of Martinsville, passed away Saturday morning, March 12, 2022 at IU Health Bloomington Hospice House. Born Sept. 5, 1968 in Seymour, Indiana, he was the son of Leon and Karen (Spiker) Pittman. Bradley was employed by Venice Inc. for the past several years where he was a dedicated employee. Bradley grew up in Brown County and graduated from Brown County High School in 1986. He spent a lot of his time in his youth working on the family farm and later worked for the family business delivering propane. He was also crew chief for his brother Greg who drove a UMRA midget and USAC sprint car for 10 years. Later in life Bradley enjoyed watching and attending races. He loved open wheel racing; particularly Sprint and Indy car. He enjoyed fishing and went on many fishing trips with his family. He also loved playing his extensive collection of Jackson electric guitars and rocking out to heavy metal.
Bradley is survived by his loving family; his brother, Gregory (Cindy) Pittman of Nashville; his uncle, Kevin (Marcia) Spiker, of Columbus; his uncle, Jerry Pittman of Nashville; aunt Brenda (Carl) Harvey of Cicero; grandmother Wilma Pittman; two nieces, Lisa (Josh) Stargell and Jessica Pittman; two great nieces Anela McQueen and Adley Stargell as well as many cousins.
He was preceded in death by long term partner Cindy Boger; his father Leon and his mother Karen Pittman, his aunt Linda Pittman and grandfather William Pittman.
Don Whetstine will conduct a funeral service on Friday, March 18 at 5 p.m. at the Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home in Nashville. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday prior to the service. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Brown County following the service.
