Robert “Bobby” Lester Jacobs, Jr.

Robert “Bobby” Lester Jacobs, Jr., age 77, of Nashville, Indiana passed away, Friday, April 1, 2022 at IU Health Bloomington Hospital.

Born May 22, 1944 in Bloomington, he was the son of Robert “Bob” Lester Jacobs, Sr and Geneva “Louise” (Andrews) Jacobs. Bobby attended Brown County High School and retired in 1999 from Cummins Engine Company. He loved being with his family and being outdoors, hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed woodworking and receiving lottery tickets. He attended Westside Apostolic Church in Columbus, Indiana. Bobby is survived by his loving wife, Judy (Hardin) Jacobs, whom he married March 13, 1963 at Green Valley Apostolic Church, two sons, Rob (Tina) Jacobs and Christopher (Jennifer) Jacobs, both of Nashville, son-in-law, Curtis Campbell, of Nashville, one sister, Terry (Phillip) Hardin, of Martinsville; six grandchildren, Cody (Liberty) Jacobs, of Nashville, Austin (Kristina) Campbell, of Columbus, Andri (Nick) Kalchik, of Nashville, Ashli Jacobs, of Unionville, Sam Jacobs, of Nashville and Eli Jacobs, of Nashville; five great-grandchildren, Reese Jacobs, Boone Jacobs, Analeigh Campbell, Ava Kalchik and Wyatt Kalchik, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Bobby was preceded in death by his father in 1998, his mother in 2009, his daughter, Penny June (Jacobs) Campbell in 2017 and great-nephew, Bradley Dugan in 2006.
