Colin Richardson went 2 for 2 with three RBIs, Gabe Bennett went 2 for 3 with two RBIs, Riley Palmeter went 2 for 4 and Jarrett Turner had a home run and three RBIs in the opener for the Lancers. Mikey Kobernick went 2 for 3 for the Eagles. Landen Burton went 2 for 4 for the Lancers in the second game (7-15). Bennett and Ian Buchanan combined on a three-hitter.

Summary: Edgewood scored 15 times in the first two innings and went on to hand Brown County a 21-2, five-inning loss in the first round of the Edgewood Sectional. Because of weather, the game was moved to Bloomington North, which has a turf field. Mikey Koberniek went 3 for 3 for the Eagles (1-15).

Summary: Brown County finished second in a tri-match at Bluff Creek. Host Indian Creek won with a 152, to 180 for the Eagles and 212 for Mooresville Christian 212. Cooper VanNess led Brown County with a 39. Kody Walsh and Wesley Arndt each shot 46, Eli Sichting carded a 49, Clay Austin and Bradley Arndt each shot 53, Jordan Barnett added a 55 and William Cassiday had a 56.

Girls IHSAA regional meet at Bloomington North High School
Summary: Brown County junior Hadley Gradolf earned a trip to the state finals with a second-place finish in 11 minutes, 29.25 seconds in the 3,200 meters in the Bloomington North Regional. The Eagles finished 18th as a team with nine points. Their other point came from Christy Sebastian, who was eighth in the 300 hurdles in 50.27.
