John and Theresa (Sinar) Zimnawoda celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 24. They were married at St. Marks Catholic Church in Gary.
John was an iron worker for U.S. Steel and Theresa worked as an insurance coordinator for Cavanaugh Orthodontics. Both are retired.
They have three children and eight grandchildren.
The Zimnawodas celebrated their anniversary with family and friends.
