Tiny crowns, big smiles: Brown County Fair Junior-Littles Pageant winners

Boys and girls of all ages competed for different titles at the 2022 Brown County Junior-Littles Pageant during the fair last week.

In total, 17 children competed in four categories. The Junior Miss category had the most contestants with seven little girls competing.

One by one each child walked across the stage and waved to the judges, answering questions about their favorite colors to what they wanted to be when they grow up.

First up was the Little Miss and Mister contest, with contestants ranging from 3 to 5 years old. Miranda Cowan won the Little Miss title and Maverick Kaganek took home the Little Mister title.

Adley Stargell and Lelan Moman also competed.

In the Junior Miss and Mister contest, boys and girls from ages 6 to 8 competed for the title. Elizan Sheckles won Junior Miss and Maximilian Kaganek won Junior Mister.

Other competitors in the girls category were Kaylee Carlile, Lily Elliott, Juliet Moman, Aubree Priddy, Ariel Salas and Diana Sheckles. One other boy, Easton Murphy, competed in the Junior Mister contest.

There were no boys in the Junior Prince contest this year.
