David “Mark” Fitzpatrick

David “Mark” Fitzpatrick, 71, of Nashville passed away Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2022 in his home. He was born May 30, 1951 in Indianapolis to Charles “Fitz” Fitzpatrick and Jean Fitzpatrick. He was a Water Treatment Plant Operator at Brown County State Park for the past 7 years. He previously worked for Brown County Water Utility for 12 years.
Mark was born in Indianapolis, IN. He attended Southport High School, class of 1969 and Indiana University. He was a resident of Nashville for 30 years. He enjoyed being outdoors, woodworking, water skiing, snow skiing, fishing, and being with friends and family.
Survivors include his wife, Debra Harbin Fitzpatrick; two sisters, Marcia (Myron Melnick) Fitzpatrick and Jan (Mike) Bancroft; a brother, Steve (Rheeta Wilson) Fitzpatrick; two nieces, Meghan (Benson) Coleman and Amanda Fitzpatrick; two nephews, Devin Sasso and Tyler Bancroft; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Dan Fitzpatrick.
There will be a Celebration of Life held on Saturday Oct. 8, 2 pm to 5 pm at the 19th Hole Sports Bar at the Salt Creek golf course in Nashville, IN. Arrangements are under the direction of Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home.
