Mona Lou (Snyder) Huber

Mona Lou (Snyder) Huber, age 73 passed away peacefully on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2022 surrounded by the love of her family and her dog, ‘Della’ who never left her side. Mona was a lifelong resident of Nashville.

She was born May 26, 1949 in Columbus, to her parents, the late Richard and Virgie (Gardner) Snyder. Mona was a 1967 graduate of Brown County High School. She was a loving wife, homemaker, mother and grandmother.

Mona enjoyed spending time with her family, mowing her yard and bailing hay. She also enjoyed working crossword puzzles, fishing, tending to her garden, dogs and cows. Mona will be remembered for her delicious pumpkin pies.

She was preceded in death on April 5, 2016 by her loving husband of 45 years, Steve A Huber Sr., whom she married on July 18, 1970 in Belmont. Mona was also preceded in death by a brother, Darrell Snyder and a grandson, Colton Huber.

She is survived by her children, Steve (Kara) Huber Jr. of Vernon, Joyce (Pat) Knapp, Bill (Melissa) Huber and Travis (Tommi) Huber, all of Nashville; siblings, Greg (Mary Ann) Snyder of Pensacola, FL and Jack (Jeanette) Snyder of Nashville; grandchildren, Zach, Tristan, & Taylor Huber, Crissy Shores, Donny Knapp, Austin Nienaber, Hannah & Abigail Huber, Cooper Olmsted, Mikayla & Emma Huber and Keigan McTarsney; great grandchildren, River Nienaber and Harper Shores.

The Rev. Matt Satter will conduct a funeral service at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 21 at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home, 179 E. Mulberry Street in Morgantown. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Duncan Cemetery in Brown County.

Memorial contributions may be sent in honor of Mona to the Hospice of South Central Indiana, 2626 E. 17th St. Columbus, IN 47201.
