Goat yoga sessions, make soap at farm

BELMONT — The Goat Conspiracy, 6022 Kent Road, will hold several goat yoga sessions in the coming weeks. The dates are as follows:

Sunday, Nov. 13 at 1 p.m.

Saturday Nov. 19 at 2 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 20 at 1 p.m.

They will also hold a soap-making workshop from 1 to 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 14.

Farm tours are open on Fridays at 2 and 3 p.m., Saturdays at 1 and 2 p.m. and Sundays at 2:15 and 3:30 p.m.

Migratory bird seasons slated

The migratory bird hunting seasons for 2022 and early 2023 have been announced by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.

Mourning dove: Nov. 1 to 27; Dec. 17 to Jan. 2.

Woodcock: Oct. 15 to Nov. 28.

Snipe: Sept. 1 to Dec. 16.

Sora rail: Sept. 1 to Nov. 9.

Early teal: Sept. 10 to 25.

Ducks, coots and mergansers: Nov. 5 to 6; Nov. 26 to Jan. 22.

Geese (Canada, brant, white-fronted, snow, ross’s): Sept. 10 to 18; Nov. 5 to 20; Nov. 26 to Feb. 12.

Youth and veteran only hunting days: Oct. 29 to 30.
