Hazel Lindall

NASHVILLE

Born in Illinois on June 24, 1928 and raised in Owensboro Ky., Hazel passed peacefully Nov. 25, 2022. She was 94.
Predeceased by parents JG and Rossie Yates Smith, sister Lena Mae Melhiser, son James Lindall, and spouse Al Lindall, and survived by children Tom Fentress, Carolyn Gras (Nashville, Ind.), Rebecca Sayers, and Laura Holliday, grandchildren Forest, Amy, and Sam Gras (Anuska), and great grandson Eli Larson, Hazel lived a life of passion and humor.
Along with raising five kids and thriving as a realtor in Kentucky, Northern Virginia, and Lake of the Woods, Va., Hazel loved to cook, fish, golf, garden, sing, dance, play cards, tell jokes, and take life lightly. Hazel loved to entertain, and was known for her Kentucky Derby parties, which continued upon retirement to Punta Gorda, Fla. Upon Al’s passing, Hazel relocated to Nashville, Ind. in 2006 with her beloved Bichon Andy, where she lived until her death.
