Marcia Lee Spiker, 66, passed away Saturday, Oct. 29, 2022 at 5:30 a.m. at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Marcia was born March 8, 1956 in Fort Wayne Indiana. She was the daughter of Maurice and Leota Mahar Hussey.
She graduated from Brown County High School in 1974. Marcia married Kevin Spiker on Aug. 21, 1982 and he survives.
Throughout the years she worked at Osco Drug Store, Columbus Office Supply, First Lutheran Church, and Centerstone. Marcia was an animal lover and was a “fur mom” to several cats and dogs. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening, and knitting.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Kevin Spiker; her brother, Michael Hussey; niece, Heather Lynch; and nephew, Ryan Hussey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Leota Hussey.
A celebration of Marcia’s life was held Wednesday, Nov. 9 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th Street.
