Indiana author to visit library, travel book highlights Indiana destinations

Indiana author Jamie Ward is coming to visit the Brown County Public Library this month to discuss her travels and latest book, “100 Things to do in Indiana Before You Die.”

Ward is a published author and the writer behind Cornfields &High Heels, a travel and lifestyle blog.

Born and raised in Indiana, Ward enjoys road-tripping with her family, photography, being outdoors, and writing about travel and food, according to a press release.

Along with stories and pictures from her adventures, Wards’ blog also offers travel tips and guides for those looking to set out in their own journeys.

According to her website, fieldsandheels.com, Ward has taken 320 trips since 2018, visiting a total 402 cities.

Ward encourages others to experience new adventures, explore, try new foods, and find fun in everyday life. She shares stories from around Indiana and the United States.

Her most recent publications are “100 Things To Do In Indiana Before You Die,” and she co-authored “Midwest Road Trip Adventures.”

Ward’s presentation will start at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 6 in the lower level meeting rooms of the library.

Following her presentation will be a book signing, with copies available for purchase. Everyone is welcome to attend the presentation.
