Annual plant sale coming soon

The Friends of the Library will hold their annual Plant Sale on Friday, April 28 from 2 to 6 p.m. and Saturday, April 29 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. or until they run out of plants. The event will be at the Brown County Public Library, 205 Locust Lane.

As always they will offer a large selection of plants, including native plants from Brown County gardens and local retailers. Brown County Soil and Water Conservation District will also offer free trees. The sale will be held under the solar panels in the library’s lower lot at the end of east Gould Street. Please come prepared to pay with cash or a check.

This event is one of the Friends biggest fundraisers. Their generous fundraising efforts allow the library provide programs and events for free to our community. The public is invited to come support the library by purchasing plants or becoming a member of the Friends.

For a list of the programs that the Friends support, visit the library’s online events calendar at BrownCountyLibrary.info/events.
