Patricia K. Hendershot, 59, a resident of Brown County, passed from this life at 2:52 p.m. Friday, August 25, 2023, at her home.

Patricia was born in Bartholomew County, Indiana, August 31, 1963, the loving daughter of Herschel Noel and Donna Louise Rider Hendershot.

Patricia enjoyed being a seamstress and she worked at the westside Walmart for many years. She grew up in and attended the Gnaw Bone Wesleyan Church and she had a passion for embroidering, reading and music.

Her life will be cherished by her mother, Donna Louise Hendershot of Brown County; her sister, Tamara “Susie” (Danny) Cooper of Indianapolis; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.

Patricia was preceded in death by her father, Herschel N. Hendershot; brothers, Ronald and Todd Hendershot; her sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Lowell Noel; and a great-nephew, Brandon Hendershot.

The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, August 28, 2023, at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike; Pastor Guy Armstrong officiated.

Family and friends gathered for visitation from 12 p.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.

Patricia was laid to rest next to her father at the Burkhart Cemetery in Brown County.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or the Gnaw Bone Wesleyan Church.
