An event designed to help keep kids safe is set for Monday at Nashville Christian Church — Lighthouse.

Presented by Catholic Charities’ Social Concerns, the focus will be on kids and their interactions with social media. If parents or grandparents have wondered why kids are so secretive, who they are talking to online, what various abbreviations mean like GNOC and LMIRL (get naked on camera and let’s meet in real life) and more.
