June Marie Wolpert, age 91, of Nashville, Indiana, passed away Monday, November 13, 2023 in Cypress, Texas while visiting her daughter. Born June 22, 1932 in Corydon, Indiana, she was the daughter of Dexter Patrick Sauerheber and Bertha Odessa (McCutcheon) Sauerheber. June retired as an executive secretary with Cummins Engine in Columbus, Indiana. She was well known as an excellent quilter and had her quilts used on several cover photos for national quilting magazines. June was a former Worthy Matron of the Nashville Eastern Star and a member of the Pioneer Women, the Columbus Star Quilters, the Bloomington Quilters Guild as well as several Bridge and Euchre clubs. She had attended the Nashville Presbyterian Fellowship and Bear Creek Church.

June is survived by one son, Blake (Cindy) Wolpert, of Nashville, one daughter, Valeri Ellen (Garry) Morris, of Cypress, Texas; four grandchildren, Eric Rose, Fred Rose, Carson Conwell and Casey Conwell and four great-grandchildren, Zoe Lee Morris, Tristin Luke Morris, Jenae Rose and Trey Rose.

June was preceded in death by her loving husband, Arthur Milton Wolpert, in 1992; eight siblings, Marjorie Bell Sauerheber, in 1930, Betty Louise Sauerheber, in 1981, Henry Richard Sauerheber, in 2001, Victor Eugene Sauerheber, in 2003, John Harold Sauerheber and Dexter Warren Clark Sauerheber, both in 2012 and Hazel Ruth Sauerheber and Barbara Jean Sauerheber, both in 2020.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 18 at 1:00 p.m. at the Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home; 1682 St. Rd. 135 North; Nashville with Rev. Rande Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Nashville. Friends may visit the family on Saturday at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Pioneer Women at the Brown County History Center.
