Ramona L. (Smith) Davis, 67, of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Ramona was born February 8, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Harold F. and Jacqueline Roberta (Cox) Smith.

Ramona married the love of her life, the late Ronald “Wayne” Davis, on October 18, 1993. They were married for 28 wonderful years.

Ramona was a devout Catholic and an active member of St. Barnabas Catholic Church. She loved her church family and volunteered her time often. She adored her animals, Buddy and Sassy, and was known for having quite the sweet tooth when it came to her favorite treats. She enjoyed playing bingo, shopping, finding deals online, and traveling with her husband. Ramona’s biggest love was her friends and family. For many years she was the family coordinator, making sure family reunions and events took place often. She was always making sure all her nieces and nephews knew how much she loved them as her own.

Ramona is survived by her son, Daniel L. Scott; grandchildren, Audrey, Jace, and Jaden; stepchildren, Pamela “Pam” Harris, Ronald “Ronnie” Davis, and Curtis “Curt” Davis; siblings, Roberta Corder Byington, Roanna “Sissy” Smith, Leo Smith, Rachelle “Chelle” Ziegler, and Esther Barton.

Ramona was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne; parents, Harold and Jacqueline; sister, Rebecca “Becky” Roach.

A visitation was held on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at St. Barnabas Catholic Church, located at 8300 Rahke Road, Indianapolis, IN 46217, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00pm. Ramona was laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Indianapolis.
