COLUMBUS- A 54-year-old Columbus woman, Bonnie Davidson, has been charged with two Class A misdemeanors for resisting law enforcement and possession of paraphernalia.

On March 1, Sheriff Deputy Nick Trevino responded to a dispatch about a traffic hazard in the roadway. According to the report, Trevino said there was one vehicle parked along the roadway blocking the eastbound lane of Georgetown Road and an additional car horizontally backed into the middle of the roadway blocking the eastbound and part of the westbound lanes.

According to the report, the vehicles allegedly belonged to Bonnie and her husband James Davidson.

Sheriff Deputy Joshua Bales arrived at the scene to assist Trevino. He located James and asked him to move the vehicles out of the roadway. According to the report, James told Bales that one of the vehicles belonged to his wife Bonnie. Bales asked James to find Bonnie so she could be identified. According to the report, Trevino heard the sound of a lighter trying to be lit on the other side of the residence. He notified Bales that he could not get a visual of Bonnie and she allegedly refused all calls from her husband. Trevino followed the sound and allegedly found Bonnie behind the house. According to the report, she was running straight at him as he turned the corner. Trevino allegedly held Bonnie at gunpoint and gave her verbal commands. According to the report, Bonnie did not listen to the verbal commands and was handcuffed as she continued to resist. Bales asked Bonnie why she ran and according to the report, Bonnie told them she needed to use the restroom and move her vehicle. According to the report, Trevino notified Bonnie that she would be going to jail and she told them about contraband concealed in her bra. According to the report, Bonnie allegedly became erratic and the deputies notified dispatch to request an ambulance. Bonnie was taken to the hospital for an evaluation before being transported to the Brown County Jail.

Nashville woman charged with pair of misdemeanors

NASHVILLE- A 49-year-old Nashville woman, Abigail Wright, has been charged with two Class B misdemeanors for disorderly conduct. On March 5, Sheriff Deputy Kyle Minor responded to a disturbance at the Away A Day Campground on State Road 46. According to the report dispatch had received a call from someone saying that he needed to speak with an officer because his wife had been yelling for hours. According to the report, the caller was identified as John Wright, Abigail’s husband. Minor contacted John while he was headed to the campsite. According to the report, Abigail and John had been drinking wine when Abigail allegedly became disorderly. John told Minor that their son Gavin Wright allegedly poured out Abigail’s wine because of how she was acting.

According to the report, Abigail allegedly shoved Gavin and he shoved her back in self-defense. Gavin took their vehicle and left the campsite to visit his girlfriend in Columbus.

When Minor arrived on the scene, he saw John with a mark on his face that appeared to be blood. Minor asked John if the mark was from Abigail and he could not confirm. According to the report, John told Minor that a few days prior Abigail allegedly smacked his glasses off of his face and pulled his hair, leaving him with a scab on his arm. John told Minor that he did not want to press charges. According to the report, Abigail advised Minor that he was not welcome at her residence. Abigail allegedly kept interrupting Minor’s conversation with John and Minor gave her a disorderly conduct warning. Sheriff Deputy Zaccary Sheppard arrived on the scene to help Minor with the investigation. Minor asked Sheppard to stay with Abigail so he could finish his conversation with John. According to the report, Abigail told Sheppard that she did not trust John or Gavin and that she did not want to live there anymore. Abigail also allegedly told Sheppard that she had been a danger to herself in the past.

According to the report, Minor advised dispatch to ready emergency medical services so they could assess Abigail. Emergency medical services arrived on the scene to provide care for Abigail before she was transported to the Brown County jail and booked on disorderly conduct and battery on law enforcement.

2 taken to hospital following crash on 46

NASHVILLE- On March 3 Sheriff Deputy Jacob Gibson responded to a crash on State Road 46, leaving one vehicle in a ditch.

According to the report, Teresa Ralston turned left into her driveway, crossing the westbound traffic lane. Summer Spencer was driving straight and allegedly struck the rear passenger side of Ralston’s vehicle. According to the report Ralston’s vehicle spun and came to a stop just west of her driveway. Spencer’s vehicle traveled around 200 feet before going off the side of the road into a ditch.

Ralston was complaining of pain in her right side and Spencer was complaining of chest pains. They were both transported by emergency medical services.

Spencer told Gibson that she was traveling between 55 and 60 miles per hour and was in her lane. Spencer’s vehicle was towed from the scene and Ralston’s was left in her driveway.
