Brown County Community Foundation Celebrating 30th Anniversary

The Brown County Community Foundation board members are excited to be celebrating the Foundation’s 30th year of doing good work in our community. Since its establishment in 1993, BCCF has committed itself to making a positive impact through philanthropy.

Blessed with hundreds of volunteers and donors, and a board focused on capacity building and donor stewardship, almost $12 million has been distributed to charitable organizations and used to support community projects. The Foundation has more than 200 endowed funds supporting nearly every nonprofit organization or activity in Brown County.

BCCF distributes more than $500,000 in awards each year. In addition, more than $500,000 in pre-K and high school scholarships have been awarded to Brown County students. BCCF not only acts as a grantor to local nonprofits but is also instrumental in organizing and supporting fundraising efforts for major projects in the community (like the Public Library, YMCA, Brown County Music Center, and Brown County Historical Society.) In addition to acting as the fiscal agent, BCCF provides grant writing, board raising, fund-raising and administrative support for nonprofits.

The event to celebrate our 30th year, “Pearls of Wisdom,” and present our Annual Report to the Community will take place at the Seasons Conference Center at 6 p.m. the evening of Thursday, July 25. With music provided by Carolyn Dutton; a program recognizing 2023 accomplishments; and this year’s grant, scholarship, and volunteer awards, the agenda should have something for everyone. Please mark your calendars!

The generous support from Mason Investment Advisory Services, Blue & Company, Carpenter Realtors, Brown County Title, People’s State Bank, and several anonymous donors have made this possible.
