The Indiana Heritage Arts, Inc., recently had the privilege of introducing our newly produced film, “Hoosiers Masters Collection 2024” to an enthusiastic crowd at the Brown County Public Library. The film focuses on three exceptional artists represented in the Indiana Heritage Arts Permanent Collection housed at the Brown County Art Gallery, the Brown County Foundation and the West Baden Hotel. In the film, Ken Bucklew, Tim Greatbatch and Libby Whipple each share a bit about their lives, their drive and their inspiration, and, give the audience a better appreciation for modern-day artists working to keep the spark of traditional midwestern representational art aflame.

The board wishes to extend its great thanks to the Indiana Arts Commission, the Brown County Community Foundation and many private donors for the generous financial support that made this project possible.

The film is currently playing in the Indiana Heritage Arts’ Rapp Room located in the Brown County Art Gallery; and the film will be made available free of charge to educators and civic groups.

Finally, special thanks goes to the film’s executive producer, Letty Newkirk for her vision; to Leo Miller, who as technical producer, crafted a beautiful production; and to Barbara Lewis for her most eloquent narration.
