Wilma Noralee (Brown) Pittman, 102, of Brown County, IN passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at her home. She was born June 22, 1922 in Brown County, IN the daughter of the late Grover and Lura (Browning) Brown.

Wilma was a member of First Christian Church of Columbus. She enjoyed quilting, cooking, making wedding cakes, sewing, painting, and spending time with her family and friends. She was a great seamstress, pianist, organist, and secretary for the Nashville Christian Church for many years. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Wilma is survived by her daughter, Brenda Harvey and her husband Carl; her son, Jerry Pittman and his wife CeCi; five grandchildren, Jerrica (Brian) Shrader, Leigh Ann Pittman, Greg (Cindy) Pittman, Derek (Rachel) Finley, and Shannon (Cole) Crabtree; six great-grandchildren, Ava, Makayla, and Bryson Shrader, Jessica Pittman, Lisa Stargell, and Remy Gentry; and two great-great grandchildren, Adley Stargell and Anela McQueen.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Pittman; a son, Leon Pittman; a daughter, Linda Pittman; a grandson, Brad Pittman; and siblings, Glenn Brown, Norma Nentrup, and Lenore Engle.

Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Bond-Mitchell Funeral Home, officiated by Pastor Michael Hogg. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. Prior to the service, the family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
